Welcome home to our champions. A tough 3 day battle ensured and made for an entertaining championships. Some highlights as well as some dissapointments but its all part of growth and learning. The championships took place at the Mcarthur stadium in Potchefstroom and viewers witnessed national records tumble as the athletes lit up the track. The u18 female category saw the 100m record being broken in the heat,semi and finals with some sintilating performances as well as the male u16 hurdle record tumble. Overall it was a competition of high standard as Ultra athletes once again did not dissapoint in the 100m,200m as well as long jump. Well done as you are all officially ranked within the top 10 in South Africa and can proudly say that you are national champions.
