Some scintillating performances echoed at the greenpoint athletics track from the start of the combined event competition to the end of the league competition. One of our team Captains Jamie Field led the charge by completing day1 in the lead as well as Jawaad Cassiem finding himself in first position in his category as well. By the start of the second day our sprinters followed suite and took charge by running personal bests in the 100 and 200m respectively. Our joint co team captain Mihkail Manasse managed to take command in the long jump and joined his team mate by finishing in first place as well. An overall great performance by athletes set the tone for the next competition taking place at Parow.
